How to Choose a Pump Controller
A practical checklist: pump type, phase, HP, water source and the problem you want to solve.
Start with the motor, not the box
Note whether it is single-phase or three-phase, the horsepower, and whether it is a monoblock, jet, openwell, compressor or submersible.
A simple mapping
JET for single-phase general pumps. SPSS for single-phase submersible up to 2 HP. TPS for 3-phase submersible up to 7.5 HP. Indicator for level display only.
